Mardi Gras celebrations led to jail for 20 people caught driving while intoxicated. During the "no refusal" evening that lasted from 9 p.m. Tuesday until 5 a.m. Wednesday, Austin Police officers drew blood from individuals under suspicion for drunk driving if they refused a field sobriety test. Four of the people who were arrested consented to breath tests, while the other 16 had blood drawn.
